Overcoming Self Storm
Within me a tempest rages,
A cyclone of thoughts,
A hurricane of feelings,
That never rest.
It tears at my sanity,
It batters my soul,
It threatens to consume me,
This Self Storm so cold.
But I will not give in,
I will not be defeated,
I will weather this storm.
And emerge stronger than ever.
I will not let it define me,
I will not let it control me,
I will be the master of my own mind,
And I will not be afraid.
This Self Storm is a part of me,
But it is not all of me,
I am more than this storm,
I am more than my thoughts and feelings.
I am a soul, a spirit,
A being of light and love,
and I will not let this storm,
Define who I am above.
I am strong, I am resilient,
I am a survivor,
And I will weather this storm,
And come out stronger than before.
